Some Wonderful Posters Featuring Apps for Special Needs Students

April 11, 2017
While we were working on Android Apps Chart for students with special needs we came across this amazing resource from CALL Scotland.  This is a collection of some beautiful posters and leaflets featuring a wide variety of learning materials for students with special needs. These posters are available for free download as A2 posters or as PDF with clickable links. You may want to spend sometime going through the collection there and see which ones work for your class.

Some of what these posters cover include: Android Apps for Learners with Dyslexia / Reading and Writing Difficulties, Addressing Reading Difficulties, ChromeBook Apps and Extensions for Learners with Dyslexia, ICT to Support Learners with Dyslexia, iPad Apps for Learners with Dyslexia, Using the iPad to Support Learners with Physical Difficulties, Supporting Writing Difficulties, and many more.

A Handy Chart Featuring Some Good Android Apps for Students with Special Needs

April 10, 2017
Since we posted our popular chart 'iPad apps for students with special needs', we forgot to to share another chart for Android users until we  have recently  been reminded by one of our readers.  The chart  you see below is a collection of some good Android apps we curated from different sources (see links below) to help individuals with special needs make the best of their learning using an Android-operated mobile device.

We have arranged the apps into three main categories: Android apps for learners with autism, android apps for learners with Dyslexia, and Android apps for the visually impaired. If you have other suggestions to add to the list, please share with us in our Facebook page.
