Over the last few months we reviewed some excellent free Adobe apps teachers can use in their instruction namely Adobe Spark Video (for creating videos) and Adobe Spark Post (for creating beautiful graphics). Today we are highlighting another equally interesting app from Adobe called Adobe Capture CC. This is a free app available on both Android and iPad that allows you to easily create digital assets from your photos.
Some of the things you can do with Adobe Capture CC include: convert your drawings into vector graphics, extract color themes from photos, ‘turn inspiring photos or graphics into high-quality ribbon-, scatter- or vector-type brushes and refine them with color, size and repetition adjustments.’ You can also utilize the app to pull ‘color and light from your favorite moments to make video-enhancing filters. A 3D histogram and intensity slider let you visualize and fine-tune your Looks.’ Another cool feature is the ability to ‘Use an existing photo or take a new one and turn it into a pattern. Pick from several pattern grids and go from ordinary to extraordinary. Name and save that new asset to your CC Library then use it in a final design.’ Give Adobe Capture CC a try and see if you like it or not.
